TIMELINE

12-23-05 I received notice that I had been accepted into Great Wall's 2006 Singles Program. That was a very exciting day.
11-5-05 I submitted my application to GWCA to be part of their singles adoption program. At that time China allowed a small percentage of their adoptive parents to be single females. They have since eliminated single adoptions altogether. I was fortunate enough to be in the last group to get in.
9-1-05 I had a conversation with Cindy Haney about a desire to have a family and she shared with me about a family from her old church who had adopted from China. This stirred something inside me which prompted me to investigate this option further through the internet.
